All-Optical Environmental Monitoring Grant (NCE - CMC) |
| This project involves an all-optical approach to large scale monitoring of geosequestered carbon dioxide using multiplexed arrays of fiber Bragg grating-based sensors. Postdoctoral and Graduate Student Positions are available in the area of Fluidics in Energy Applications [Info] (March 20, 2011) |

Optofluidic Photobioreactor for Solar Biofuel Grant (NSERC - Strategic) |
| This project applies an optofluidic approach to develop a photobioreactor that enables photosynthetically-active bacteria to be both packed tightly within the reactor and excited optimally. This approach has the potential to remove the main limitations of current photobioreactors as well as enable solar biofuel production in northern climates. Postdoctoral and Graduate Student Positions are available in the area of Fluidics in Energy Applications [Info] (Oct. 20, 2010) |

Carbon Management Microfluidics (NCE - CMC) |
| This research leverages the wealth of microfluidic, nanofluidic and optofluidic tools to address the pressing energy challenges in carbon management. This is a five-university effort led by Dr. Sinton and a sub-project of the Network of Centres of Excellence. Postdoctoral and Graduate Student Positions are available in the area of Fluidics in Energy Applications [Info] (July 1, 2010) |
